i dont know why nail polish remover wouldnt work but yea. i know this sounds crazy, but put on the clear nail polish on your nail again, and then make sure it doesnt dry, and wipe it off with a napkin or something.

Just apply acetone. But I think if you have nail polish designs like what they have here: http://www.coolnailsart.com/ I'd bet you'd wish the design would last long. :)
